I spent 8 years in the 101st ABN DIV in the Army and loved it! I deployed to Iraq during the initial push on Operation Iraqi Freedom. This was the best of my military experience but also the worst. It took a lot out of me but also made me see things from a different point of view. I then went on to attend and graduate from the Special Forces Qualification course. This would lead to several additional deployments and different experiences.
